Not 12 miles

I tried to do at least a 10 miler this morning, but taking two weeks off to heal a blister ended up costing me a bit of mileage.  I made it 5, and decided to call it a day.  My knees were aching and I'm glad I quit when I did.  I took my sock off and the blister was just starting to get all irritated. If I had done 10 miles, it would have been right back to where it started. I came home, did some yoga poses for distance runners and formulated a plan for my catch up training.  I will run daily for the next 6-8 day and keep the runs under 4 miles each. I will do my distance running yoga poses and my wii fit wkout on alternating days to get the strength back in my knees and abs.  Then I can start catching back up to my 10 mile glory days! Tomorrow a 20 mile bike ride, and some hole digging in the yard.....should count for something!
